The Dark Knight Review

Best movie of 2008. The End.

Lol, seriously that is all this post calls for, but of course I'll include more. Okay, So I've been anticipating this movie all fucking year ever since I saw the first trailer. I knew I had to see it the day it came out so that people wouldn't spoil it for me and I accomplished my mission. First of all R.I.P to Heth Ledger, because I am one who has always criticized how people only give a person their deserved respect when they die, but this time I am the victim of the exact thing I despise. I didn't know this guy was that good until I seen his role as the Joker and watched him execute the roll like no other person could have. It's crazy because as he was blowing up shit and killing people, he made me laugh all at the same time. He did such an excellent job in conveying this evil humor that all of us have inside us, and I say all of us because I wasn't the only one in the theatre laughing (Marquis lol). Also, through his crazy and freaky tactics he was able to spit alot of logic lol. His whole plan was not to get money, but to simply illustrate that people once put in an odd enough situation will do things that will prove them disloyal and only looking to help "self." I think he perhaps was on to something, and yeah yeah I know it was only a movie lol, but it still is true even in the real world.

Okay so enough of Joker (Heth Ledger)'s awesomeness and how he is now my favorite villian lol, lets talk about Batman. Batman obviously was outshined by the villian Joker, but I think he still deserves to be discussed. He has always been my favorite superhero because of his ability to seem real. What I mean is that he doesn't have the corny "superpowers" like a Superman or Spiderman, but he simply has gadgets and a suit, which makes him way more vulernable to the same things as a normal person. Speaking of gadgets, ahh man you have to see the shit they pulled off in this movie lol...like out of this world fly shit. Hmmm but the sexiest thing was that Lamborghini, I drooled lmao. But yeah, it was cool how the movie really opened-up Batman's true meaning of how he is not not a superhero, but he is in essence "whatever the city needs him to be," which includes taking blame and being labeled as more evil than he is good. Now you see where the title "The Dark Knight" comes in. I love it!

Yeah, this movie was good on so many levels. I don't wanna give it away if you haven't seen it yet, but Two-Face makes an appearance. Ooooooooops! Sorry, it slipped lol. Yes, well atleast I'll leave it up to you to find out how it all unravels, but yes he does make an appearance. It was almost overwhelming to see the Joker and Two-Face doing shit at the same time simultaneously, but it just put the icing on an already perfect cake. Go check out the movie people, it's definately worth it. It's like 3 hours long, but it's interesting to where it doesn't even feel like it (your ASS might feel it though lol). Batman FOREVER!!!

Here's some of favorite quotes from the movie, most of which are from the Joker lol:

"You either die a hero, or live long enough to watch yourself become the villian."

"Why so serious?"

"If your good at something, never do it for free."

"...It's all part of the plan."

"We all know maddness is like gravity; all it takes is a little push!"
